A Cessna 172 managed to somehow bring me to a desertic area, a very steep slope, looking like an escarpment of a mesa or of some geological feature on Mars, with a ground of brown eroded rock where you are guaranteed to cut yourself hard if you fall down. There was a very thick fog, and the visibility probably wasn’t more than a few meters. I don’t know how the Cessna could have taken me there, I just know it did.

While I hiked there, I spotted a small Martian rover, looking like Spirit but definitely smaller. I picked it up, put it in my backpack while feeling the guilt you would feel from stealing something, and carried on.

I was later going up a large stairwell, talking with someone from the company managing the coworking space I sometimes go to IRL. Through large windows on one side of the stairwell, you could see that the fog is still there, but far less intense, and there is an airport runway outside. At the top of the stairwell, you can enter a hallway or take an elevator. Except that elevator can also turn into a cable car, like what you would find at ski resorts, and would take you straight to the runway, judging from the cable and its support poles visible through the windows.

During the conversation, I was trying to casually mention how I needed to quickly take that cable car, get back into the Cessna and go back to the mesa before 2pm. I did not say that that was because me stealing the rover caused a huge mess for the research team that was testing this rover, and that I had to put it back into place before they noticed I stole it. They were sending someone to look at it on site and troubleshoot, and they would arrive by 2pm. It was 1:45pm, so I was in quite a hurry.

I remember being on a large square in a European city center, paved in cobblestone and surrounded in beige buildings with some shops at the ground floor. There were two groups of people, with some other scattered around the square. It appears that both groups were in some kind of conflict, as a portion of one of the groups separated from the rest to discuss their concerns over someone in their own group being a spy from the other group, who infiltrated them to hear about their plans.
