I woke up at 5:20, fell asleep again, and woke up at 6:49 with some complicated dreams.

I was explaining to someone how I took control of a barge. I arrived in a small motorized boat and jumped onto the barge to access a control panel. I opened the beige electrical panel and saw the control panel, made of transparent plastic that made the PCBs behind it visible, along with some tiny plastic buttons to enable manual piloting and take control of the barge.

The barge was in a narrow canal, passing through a marina. On the port side, along the wooden quay, was a bungalow used by French border patrol. The barge was stuck because it did not keep going straight while in the canal, getting stuck similarly to the Ever Given, although this barge was a lot smaller than her. I made a laborious one hundred point turn and managed to get the barge to go straight again, and moved it forward until it struck the doors of a lock in the canal.

Someone from the border patrol asks me what I am doing here. It turns out that the barge headed to the wrong port, and that it should have gone to another one shared between the English and the Spanish, not through this port on the other side of the detroit that was controlled by the French and another country. They let me pass through anyway and I end up in deeper seas.

The sea is agitated. A tall wave hits the barge, lifting it up then making it fall back down in the water at a 45° pitch. This crushes a platform that was below the barge, supporting it despite being smaller than it. The barge floats lower than normal. I film myself with my phone, messing around on that broken platform.

I was running after someone who seemingly had stolen a banana in a bar, possibly at the Cité de Carcassonne, in the night. This actually was a contest organized by the bar, or maybe a local radio: catch the banana and bring it back to the bar, and you win a car.

I remember climbing up a dark staircase, along with a group of people all running after the banana thief. We then went down another staircase, well lit this time. The stairs were covered in that weird shiny gray material found in underground parkings, the one that makes squeaky noises when cars take turns.

I mentioned to someone how my company has worked on important governmental projects, so we would know how to keep the banana secret, and therefore it should be mine.

I was viewing the real world but as if everything was in Google Street View: I could move along the streets by clicking on the arrows and there was a HUD displaying where I am and showing the map controls, but I was seeing the real world in real time, with people moving around.

Some neighbors were meeting on a patch of grass near the entrance of their neighborhood. After the meeting ended, I slowly made my way to the house of the family that was “walking” with me, showing them that I remembered where their house was. I hesitated a bit at an intersection where I could continue straight on on the row of red brick houses, or turn left to head up a slope towards a large closed gate.

I interrupted someone in a large meeting room who was watching the french TV channel TF1 on a TV placed along one of the walls. TF1 was re-broadcasting France 4’s broadcast, then switched back to one of their own shows; possibly Koh Lanta. I switched to France 4 directly, then I turned on the large projector of the room and used it to watch a YouTube video. The video showed off the capabilities of an SUV that had just been approved by the NHTSA for testing by the manufacturer before they made their final design. The SUV was driving around in some sort of stadium, like for a monster truck show, and was jumping on some ramps.
