I helped to put large black or yellow (recyclable) trash bags on pallets stacked on deep shelves in a hospital. We were in a large room with orange walls, some windows with closed blinds, and some neons lighting everything up. My dad had a lot less bags to move than me and showed me where to put the bags for recycling.

I followed some journalists around in the hospital, and I had no idea what I was really supposed to do with them. I got lost at an intersection, and found a room there with a sign saying “Amazon”, handwritten with a black marker. The room had various mounds of luggage and clothing lying around. The journalists went to ask an employee if this was meant to help in moving the patients into another hospital in case of an emergency, and they replied that it was just all the personal belongings of the patients. There was a booth at the entrance of the room, with a large window with some holes to let people talk through.

I was sitting on my old wooden bed in a previous family home from something like 10 years ago. I just remember thinking that I was glad to be at home, not alone. I was thinking that it had been 10 years since I tried to leave the house to live by myself, when it reality it has been nearly 4 years.

We watched the news and saw that only 2 political parties would be running for the next presidential elections in the UK. One was named something like “cocaine and positivity” and wanted to legalize alcohol that had cannabis components in it, as well as offer vaccine doses with extra alcohol in them to encourage getting vaccinated. All the other parties regrouped together into some weird and long initialism that included “Green” and “Energy” in it. We collectively sighed while watching the report.

I tested a video game where you could drive a bus while being judged by some automated car racing scoring system. It judged my driving as being a completely useless race. I went through an entrance that looked like I was getting onto a ferry like in Euro Truck Simulator 2, and my bus then drove along a long straight tunnel.

I was in my parents’ car. My dad was driving, and at first my mom was on the passenger seat at the front and I was in the back, but at some point it changed to me at the front and her in the back. Our route was taking us through an airport, and by that I mean literally through it. We were driving on some taxiways, right being an aircraft, then got onto a runway with absolutely no markings, just some asphalt.

I drew a route on a map on my phone, a long colored line with some white circles inside of it. I said that we were moving at 2 circles per minute and we clearly were not going to arrive any time soon. My dad hears my comment and accelerates, probably expecting that I get scared and tell him to stop doing it. I do not react, so he just accelerates as much as he can. He was in some kind of special gear on the gearbox where he just doesn’t have to care about the gear and can accelerate as much as he wants, but he then went into third gear and the engine appeared to be running at some normal RPM.

After we reached the end of the runway, we kept going forward and got on some regular roads. I saw some roadsigns with some white text on a green background, and they made me think of the signs you can see in Poland or Czech Republic in Euro Truck Simulator 2. We went into some interchanges, my dad was taking all the turns by drifting and my mom was just laughing a bit without being scared, which is definitely unlike her.

The sky was a dark blue, like right after a sunset. Then, in pure black night, we stopped in the emergency lane of a road, on what looked like a parking spot like those found in the ETS2 Italy DLC. The lane on our left was completely packed with cars and not moving at all. I thought we had parked just to take a little break, but I then noticed some blue strobes in the left mirror and realized that a police car had seen us.

The police car was stuck in the traffic, so we had to wait until it could reach us. A police officer went at my dad’s window. The window was either still closed, or only opened by a centimeter or so. The officer just said “sir” and I woke up.
