I found my boss in the living room of an apartment where my parents and I lived over 10 years ago. The room was not however shaped or arranged exactly like the original one: where the couch normally is was a table where my mom had set up her her laptop. She was telling me about how she wanted to update some software and did it by reinstalling it entirely. My boss then walked by the table while my mom was away and left a note on the door saying “updating is not reinstalling”.
I then remember being next to a rail track with a bunch of train enthusiasts. We first saw a locomotive pulling a single passenger car, painted almost entirely in white. Then, an orange freight locomotive like those of the BNSF was approaching and was going faster than that first train. It caught up to the first train and hit it from behind, causing some video game-like collision bug that left the orange locomotive between the locomotive and the passenger car of the first train while we were laughing at the spectacle.
I was then in some sort of sports hall converted into a temporary hospital. A large room was filled with hospital beds for all the victims of this train crash. Most people did not seem to be wounded at all but everyone was kept in observation, including bystanders like us. I wanted to go talk to those in neighboring beds, so I left mine, but I had to quick go lay down in the bed of a female neighbor and try not to be seen by the medical staff or by said neighbor.
Once the staff left the room, while other people were still busy entering their beds in the last row, I tried to get back into mine. I found my aunt laying in that bed on her side, her back towards me, in a one-piece swimsuit. I panic a bit and try to find another bed to go to, since we’re not supposed to be getting up, but the only remaining bed has no sheets or pillows. I turn around and notice that my aunt is no longer in the bed, so I go back to my original bed.
There was some sort of screen on the bedhead, spanning the whole width of the bed and being 30 or 50cm high. It was displaying a white square with two black letters on it, followed by the explanation of the abbreviation in white on black. The first letter always seemed to be an R, and the second seemed to always move forward in the alphabet. While everyone’s screen was showing that they were in “sleep mode”, my own though I was in “reeducation mode” due to the physical effort made by just leaving my bed. It scanned my body to check for wounds when I got back into bed and displayed “resume training” (RS). “RR” was the mode for repairing wounds.
